Danny Martin Dickerson

Danny Martin Dickerson, 77, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away on January 17, 2025, in Callaway, MD. Born on September 18, 1947, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Lillie Marie Dickerson and the late Alex Martin Dickerson. Danny is survived by his daughter, Michelle Parrott (Brent) of Solomons, MD, his siblings, Jack Dickerson of Deal, MD and Tammy Dickerson of VA, and his two grandchildren, Patrick and Cody, as well as his companion, Donna Purdy-Cyrus of Great Mills, MD, and his long-time friend, Kevin Helmsley. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Tommy Dickerson, Jimmy Dickerson, Betty Dickerson, and Bobby Dickerson. Danny was the owner of County Carpets and Flooring. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. A life celebration will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 2:30 PM at West Field Farm, 26689 Laurel Grove Road, Mechanicsville, MD. Interment will be private. A luncheon will be offered. Please bring a dish to pass around for family and friends to enjoy.
