  4. Kevin and Heather Askin says:

Patti, Craig, Christina, EJ and Stephanie, our love, support and empathy go out to you all at this most difficult time. Dave came into our lives when he was on active duty and I a reservist in 2004. He sent me on an assignment to Canada and we became fast friends. In the years that followed, Dave became my colleague, business parter, advocate and great friend. He always was kind and put others first. I could always count on him. Thoughtful to his core, he would always have a book or present for me, whether on my return from deployment, at my retirement ceremony or just because he thought I would like it. I cherished our many conversations on all kinds of topics and whether he agreed with me or not, he always listened patiently. We will miss him greatly. Our deepest condolences to you all. May God ease your pain and Bless you.

Love Kevin, Heather, Jacob, Samantha and Jonathan Askin
