Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Bushwood, MD. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Mattingley- Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD. David Clarence Pilkerton, 47, of Baltimore, MD formerly from Compton, MD., passed away on September 3, 2013 in Baltimore, MD. Born on May 16, 1966 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of the late Cleveland Randall “Diddy” and Mary Helen Pilkerton. David is survived by his sister Anne Pilkerton Nelson of Avenue, MD. He is preceded by his brother Robert Cleveland Pilkerton of Compton, MD. Mr. Pilkerton graduated from Leonardtown, High School in 1984. David enjoyed; wrestling, drawing, fishing, pool and darts. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 11:00 Am in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating.
