A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home chapel with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating. Interment will follow in the Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home chapel.
Donna Jean Woods, 57 of Leonardtown, MD passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 16, 2013 in Leonardtown, MD. Born on March 19, 1956 in Leonardtown, MD., she was the daughter of George Wallace and the late Violet Elizabeth Heard Lathroum. Donna was the loving wife of the late Bobby Gene Woods whom she married in St. Mary’s County Courthouse and whom preceded her in death on January 23, 2006. Donna is survived by her daughter Tammy Lynn Woods Quade (James Michael) of Leonardtown, MD., 2 grandchildren; Kacie Lynn Quade and Ashton Michael Quade. Siblings; Sharon (Bernie) Woodburn, Judy Adams (Brett), George W. Lathroum, Jr., David “Lee” Lathroum, and Glenn Lathroum all of Leonardtown, MD., Charles “Bubba” Lathroum, and Johnny Lathroum, both of Hollywood, MD. Donna was a homemaker, and enjoyed playing bingo and playing games with her grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD a Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD. Pallbearers will be; Robert Farrell, Bernie Woodburn, Brett Adams, Corey Woodburn, D.J. Lathroum, and Glenn Lathroum. Honorary Pallbearers; Johnny Lathroum, Charles Lathroum, and George “Teenie Boy” Lathroum. Contributions made be made to ACTS “A Community That Shares” P.O. Box 54 Bushwood, MD 20618.
