Donnie Doil Adkins

Donnie Doil Adkins, 78, of Leonardtown, MD passed away on December 6, 2016 in Great Mills, MD. Born on August 14, 1938 in Coeburn, VA, he was the son of the late Lena Orpha Kiser Adkins and Raymond Adkins. Donnie is survived by his children: Kenneth Adkins of Bradenton, FL, Lynda Cruciotti (John) of West Gardiner, ME, Craig Adkins of Lexington Park, MD, Todd Adkins (Lisa) of Bryans Road, MD, Kevin Adkins (Jennifer) of St. Inigoes, MD, Kimberly Abell of Bath, VA, 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. A life-long resident of St. Mary’s County, MD. Donnie loved the outdoors, and was an avid hunter, and waterman. He passed his knowledge of tracking, fishing, and shooting on to his children, and grandchildren. Donnie was up before the sun, hunting, or fishing depending on the season.
