Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Viewing/Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 from 11:00 - 12:30 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home. Edith Virginia Gibson, 90, of Leonardtown, MD formerly of Washington, DC died February 5, 2007 in St. Mary's Nursing Center. Born May 8, 1916 in Washington, DC she was the daughter of the late Louise Cummings. She was the beloved wife of the late Alva Gibson and Richard Thompson. She is survived by her son: Ronald Gibson of Venice, FL; 2 grandchildren: Debbie Flynn and Michael Gibson and 1 great grandchild: Kelly Flynn. Ms. Gibson moved to St. Mary's County from Washington, DC in 1974. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 9, 2007 from 11:00 â?? 12:30 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM in the funeral home chapel with Fr.
