A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel Leonardtown, MD. Interment will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Old Fields Episcopal Cemetery Hughesville, MD.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD.
Erna “Noreen” Bengtson, 68 of Lexington Park, MD passed away on December 22, 2014 at her residence. “Noreen” was born November 28, 1946 in Seattle, WA. She was the daughter of the late Mary Teresa and Leslie F. Hartl.
Mrs. Bengtson was the loving wife of Albert Bengtson, she is also survived by her children; Diana Reynolds, Payge Williams, Rylynn Thompson and Ashten Thompson all of California, MD, Kory Landrum and Austin Landrum both of Republic, OH, Cassady Todd of Lexington Park, MD, sibling; Gerri Benson of Pine Beach, NJ. In addition to her parents “Noreen” was preceded in death by her daughter Terri Landrum. She graduated from Toms River South High school. “Noreen” worked as a Telecommunications Specialist for a Defense Contractor, she moved to St. Mary’s County in 1993 from Toms River, NJ.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating.
