“So shocked and sad to hear of Ernie’s passing. He was a great friend to me in the early 80’s. Always watching out and protecting me. I’ll always remember our fun times and that infamous greeting of yours… “Heyyyyy…””
“My entire family was extremely heart broken to hear of “Uncle” Ernie’s passing. Growing up I had two “adopted Uncles”. One was Teeny and one was Ernie. Growing up they were a constant in my life and always took care of me. I hope that Ernie knew how lucky we all were to have such a kind & caring person in our lives for all these years. He always knew how to put a smile on your face! He was truly loved and will be greatly missed! “
“Very saddened to hear of Ernie’s passing. Condolences to his family. Will always remember the fun times back in the day. We will miss you “Ernie from Glen Burnie””
“1Peter 1:3-6 NKJV Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living Hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have grieved by various trials… Psalms 145:18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him. To all who call upon Him in truth. Go rest High on His mountain Brother!”
“Ernie was great. Soft spoken yet when he did speak or share that smile of his it was not to be unnoticed. He was handsome and a true gentlemen. Last time, I’d seen Ernie, he was so proud to tell me about his daughter and becoming a father. It’s been some time ago but I thought of him and wondered where he may be living. I thought the world of him and I’m very sad to hear this news. To the Howard family my sincere sympathy from a friend of the infamous “Ernie from Glen Burnie”.”
“To the entire Howard family, The world has lost one of the most caring, funny, faithful, sweet, honest and intelligent people that i have ever known. I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Ernie. We spent many hours together in the 80’s an 90’s. He made a big impression on my life. Ernie always had a way of lighting up a room when he entered. He also never met a stranger. His wonderful outlook on life really made you see things in a different light.I regret that we grew apart and lost contact and that i couldn’t have been there during his hard times with his battle with cancer. I know that i have just gained another angel in my life an know that he is at peace.”
“Ernie, I will never forget the good times we had together at Loveville Tavern, and all the other local hangouts. You always kept me laughing and I know the angels in heaven are laughing as we speak. So sorry we lost touch over the years, but there will only be one “Ernie from Glen Burnie. RIP my friend.”
“Dear Daddy, I just want to thank you for being the best dad you could be. I know we lost touch for a while, but I am so grateful we had become close over the past year. Moving to Florida to live with you was one of the greatest decisions I have made in my life. Spending the last few months with you has made a huge impact on my life. When I look back on my life, I know I would not be the person I am today, without you. As we take you to your place of rest, I won’t say goodbye, because I will see you again someday. I love you. Love your little girl, Kristina”
“”Ernie from Glen Burnie”, you were such a gentle soul. I enjoyed all of the time I spent around you and have some great memories. So glad you were a part of my life. Teeny, I’m sorry for the loss of your good friend.”
“To the Howard Family, My sincere condolences on the loss of your son and sibling. May he rest in peace and God Be With You All.”
