Services: A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 7 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel, 41590 Fenwick Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650 with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating. Inurnment will take place in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD on Friday, March 24, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Visitation: The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Thursday, March 23, 2006 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Ethel Norris-Visscher, 40 of Waynesville, MO departed this life on March 17, 2006 after a long hard fight with cancer. Born on September 29, 1965 she was the daughter of the late Robert Dellie and Doris Elizabeth Hammett Norris. She was the loving wife of Richard Visscher whom she married on February 14, 1998. She is survived by her children: 19 year old Michael (Tony) Norris, 6 year old Tristen Visscher and 3 year old Emily Visscher, all of Waynesville, MO, five sisters: Catherine Lynn Johnson and her husband Kevin of Palmer Alaska, Sandy Norris of Waynesville, MO, Diane Tucker and her husband Bob of LaPlata, MD, Mary Carter and her husband Charlie of Valley Lee, MD, Dottie Wesolowski and her husband Mike of Waynesville, MO; and one brother, Mike Norris and his wife Nilda of Fairfax, VA and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Visscher was a home-maker and enjoyed scrap booking, family gatherings, cooking, gardening and especially spending time with her immediate family. The family will receive friends from 5:30 - 7 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home where a Memorial/Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2006 at 10:00 AM in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown MD. Arrangements provided by the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A.
