Eva Cecilia Hall, 68, of Loveville, MD passed away on November 14, 2018 at her home. Born on September 16, 1950 in Leonardtown, MD she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Cecilia Peeler Vallandingham and Earl James Vallandingham. Eva was the loving wife of George Ignatius Hall of Loveville, MD whom she married on June 19, 1967 in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Compton, MD. She is survived by her children; George Hall (Karen) and Eva Hill (Steve) both of Loveville, MD. 5 grandchildren; Wesley Hall, Ashleigh Jennings (Chris), Karleigh Hall, Georgia Hill and Shy Ann Hill. Siblings; Earleen Vallandingham, Noreen Vallandingham and Linda Wilkes. Eva is preceded in death by her brother, Earl Vallandingham.
Eva graduated from Chopticon High School. She was employed with the United States Postal Service as a Post Master in Loveville, MD for 40 years retiring in 2010.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Blanton officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD. Pallbearers will be: Wesley Hall, Chris Jennings, Michael Quade, Jr., Adam Vallandingham, Eric Clark and Brandon Wentworth. Honorary Pallbearer will be; Ajay Hill.

My thoughts and prayers to the entire Hall family. I rented a house across from you years ago on Pincushion Rd..George and Eva were so very kind and their children and my daughter grew up and went to school together. Take care of each other. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Each Friday night years ago, we bowled on a league with George and Eva. We got to know this lovely couple at that time. Eva always had a smile and was a treasure to know. George, you and your family are in our prayers.

George, Georgie, Sissy All of Eva’s Family, We were such long time friends. My memories are ever so many. Never a cross word between us, helping each other any time it was needed. I am sorry for your lost. Eva lived across the street where I grew up. She, myself and Betty Joy had many happy days and memories growing up.
To all of Eva’s Family: Our families were neighbors since early childhood. Eva was a wonderful person who knew how to “get things done”. My sister and I visited her several times during her illness and it was so delightful to reminiscence about our childhood and our families as we became adults.
