Dear Bill and Katie, My heart goes out to you both at this time. Flora was a co-worker at St. John’s School. Her mother was my mother’s maid of honor. We had many good laughs and enjoyed each other’s company. May she rest in peace.

I’m so sorry to hear of Flora’s passing. Was fortunate to have known her when we were at Chopticon years ago . We were in one particular class together..and I .remember when her Father passed and I wrote her a Poem ” Departure ” for her.
Departure
The light of Happiness is gone.
The arm of fate has come,
Happiness is gone, but still…
there is the memory.
Each golden day has left,
the mark embedded in mind.
There is always hope but still
it seem impossible.
The flower in my mind,
is beginning to fade away.
Yet pleasant thoughts and moments,
are seeping through the ponderous sadness.
Disappointing life still goes on.
Destiny guiding our lives.
never to meet again but, still
I have my perservering dreams…
shortly there after our teacher ask me to ask her to a School dance…so i did and she accepted and we went….
Always remember how nice she was…so thought I would share this with you all…
