Services: A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at 9:30 AM with Fr. Dakes officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady's Cemetery, Leonardtown, MD. Visitation: Public viewing/visitation will be held in the funeral home on Monday, January 9, 2005 from 5 - 8 with prayers being said at 7:00 PM. Frances P. "Patsy" Burnette, 64, of Hollywood, MD died January 5, 2006 in Hollywood, MD. Born January 29, 1941 in Hollywood, MD she was the daughter of the late James Dawkins and Mary Violet Dean Abell, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Burnette, Sr. She is survived by her sons: James E. Burnette, Jr. and Anthony D. Burnette; siblings: Mary A. Taylor, Michael S. Abell, Sr. and David C. "Pee Wee" Abell all of Hollywood, MD, Catherine V. Arnold of Mt. Morris, MI and Stephen I. Abell of Calvert County and 2 grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Joseph B. Abell, Sr., J. Thomas Abell, Sr. and James D. Abell, Jr. Mrs. Burnette was a life long St. Mary's County resident where she graduated from the Maryland School for the Deaf on May 27, 1960. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 9, 2006 from 5:00 â?? 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM.
