A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 18, 2008 at 9:30 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, Compton, MD with Fr. John Mattingly officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 17, 2008 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home with prayers being said at 3:00 PM.
Mr. Francis Joseph Brown, Sr., 66, passed away at his home in Indian Trail, NC on August 12, 2008. Mr. Brown was born July 1, 1942 in Leonardtown, MD, son of the late Mary Edna Brown Norris. Survivors include his wife Jacqueline Mercer Brown, a son Francis J. Brown, Jr. and his wife Shelia of Stanfield, NC, a daughter Jennifer Lynn Brown of Indian Trail, NC and two granddaughters Christianna Page and Allyson Grace Brown. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 17, 2008 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where Prayers will be said at 3:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 18, 2008 at 9:30 AM in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. John Mattingly officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens.
