Services: Services will be private. George Edward Anthony, Sr., 67, of Lexington Park, MD formerly of Washington, DC died February 21, 2007 in Bayside Care Center. Born July 19, 1939 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Louis Whitney and Lois Anthony Zyras. He was preceded in death by his wife Delores V. Anthony on December 16, 1991 in Lexington Park, MD whom he married in January 1961 in MD. He is survived by his children: Beth M. Higgs of Park Hall, MD, George E. Anthony, Jr., Michael R. Anthony, Sr. and Francis Guy Anthony all of Lexington Park, MD; siblings: William Anthony of Fredericksburg, VA, Louise Wright of Lexington Park, MD, Joseph Anthony of Upper Marlboro, MD and Betty Colbert of Bell, FL; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his siblings: Thomas Anthony and Whitney Anthony. Mr. Anthony moved to St. Mary's County in 1974 from Prince George's County. He retired from Dyna Corp. in 1998 where he worked as a mechanic. He also served 3 years in the U.S. Army. All Services where Private.
