Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 10:30 AM in St. John's Catholic Church, Hollywood, MD with Fr. Raymond Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD. Visitation: The family will recieve friends Thursday, September 28, 2006 from 5:00-8:00 PM, with prayers at 7:15 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home,P.A. George Wellington Gray, 66, of Hollywood, MD died September 23, 2006 in Bayside Care Center. Born September 20, 1940 in Hollywood, MD was the son of the late Bertha and Luke Gray. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth â??Sis' Gray whom he married at St. John's Catholic Church on August 17, 1964. He is survived by his children Sharon Cooper of Hollywood, MD and Christine Gray of Leonardtown, MD. He is survived by his siblings Wilmer B. Gray, David Gray and Larry Gray all of Hollywood, MD. He was also survived by five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Charles V. Gray and Allen Gray. Mr. Gray was a life long St. Mary's County resident who worked as Air conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic for The Rayburn Building in Washington, D.C., for 20 years. Mr. Gray also drove a dump truck and worked at an automotive repair shop. He loved helping others and spending time with his grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 28, 2006 from 5:00-8:00 PM with prayers being said at 7:15 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home.
