Visitation: The family will receive friends on Monday, March 16, 2009 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM in St. George Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD. Hazel Marie Aud Turner, 84, of Westminster, MD formerly of Valley Lee, MD died March 4, 2009 in St. Mary’s Nursing Center. Born June 25, 1924 in Valley Lee, MD she was the daughter of the late Michael I. and Agatha A. Matthews Aud. She was preceded in death by her husband C. Howard Turner on April 23, 1979 in Baltimore, MD, whom she married in 1949 at St. Rose of Lima Church, Baltimore, MD. She is survived by her siblings Regina Brookbank of Glen Burnie, MD, Benedict Aud and Betty A. Norris both of Leonardtown, MD and Donald Aud of Great Mills, MD; one grandchild and one great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Kyle Slacum, sister Christine Stone and brother Reginald Aud. Mrs. Turner graduated from Great Mills High School “Class of 1942”. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 16, 2009 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM in St. George’s Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM with Msgr. Karl Chimiak officiating. Interment will be Private. Contributions may be made to St. Mary’s nursing Center, 21585 Peabody Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
