Services: A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Fr. John Stack officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Public visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, March 17th from 9:30 - 11:00 AM. Henrietta Cecelia "Miss Hennie" Countess, 95, of Clinton, MD formerly of Norristown, PA died March 11, 2005 in Clinton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born October 22, 1909 in Norristown, PA she was the daughter of the late Mary and Daniel Nelson. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Parlee Countess. She is survived by her children: Martha C. Daniels of Clinton, MD, Anna Albriton and Haldiya Karim both of Washington, DC, William Countess of Calvert County, MD and James H. Countess of Oxon Hill, MD, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her children: Joseph P. Countess, Jr., George R. Countess, Mary Nelson, Annie Reed and Barbara Thompson. Ms. Countess was a housewife and taught Catechism in her home for Our Lady of the Wayside church in Chaptico, MD. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17 from 9:30 â?? 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Father John Stack officiating.
