Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 10 AM in Holy Face Catholic Church, Great Mills, MD with Fr. Joseph Sileo officating. Interment will follow in the Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD. Visitation: Viewing and Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13, 2006 from 5 - 8 PM with prayers being said at 7 PM in Holy Face Catholic Church, Great Mills, MD. Henry Aloysious "Bucky" Smith, Jr., 66, of Callaway, MD died June 10, 2006 in Callaway, MD. Born November 22, 1939 in Great Mills, MD he was the son of the late Henry Aloysious and Lillian Agnes Ford Smith. He was the loving husband of Patricia A. Smith of Callaway, MD whom he married on July 14, 1962 in Our Lady's Catholic Church, Medley's Neck. He is survived by his children: Kenneth L. Smith, Richard G. Smith and Denise Butler all of Callaway, MD, Mark A. Smith of Leonardtown, MD and Scotty Smith of Hollywood, MD; brother: Joseph (Ford) Hayden of Callaway, MD; sisters: Ann (BeBe) Woodburn and Nellie (Betsy) Carter both of Callaway, MD; grandchildren: Charles (Andy) Banagan, Jessica Banagan, Kennedy M. Smith, Sydney D. Smith, Kyle S. Butler and Colin Smith all of Maryland, Taylor N. Smith and Kaitlin B. Smith both of Texas and Brittany R. Smith of New York. He was also preceded in death by his sibling: Mary (Polly) Smith, Agnes (Teresa) Hayden, William (Tom) Hayden, Margaret (Sally) Humenik, Charles (Dick) Hayden, Frances (Sissie) Raley and James (Jimmy) Smith and grandson: Joshua L. Smith. Bucky was a life long St. Mary's County resident. After he retired in 1995 his favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren, making bird houses for family and friends, planting his garden in the spring and most of all he loved to fish with his family and friends. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 from 5:00 â?? 8:00 PM in Holy Face Catholic Church, where Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 10:00 AM in Holy Face Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Sileo officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Bernie Woodburn, Larry Carter, David Raley, Jerry Humenik, J.W. Smith and Davis Lee. Honorary Pallbearers will be: John F. Smith, Danny Burch, Bernard Lacey, Mickey Hayden, Jimmy Quade and Charles Hayden. Contributions may be made to Hospice if St. Mary's, P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
