Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 15 at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Francis J. Early officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 14 in the funeral home from 5 - 8 PM with prayers being said at 7:00 PM. Howard "Dee" Matthew Guy, Sr., 62, of Leonardtown, MD died October 11, 2004 in Leonardtown, MD. Born July 24, 1942 in Leonardtown, MD he was the son of the late Mary Theresa Ellis Guy and James Thomas Guy, Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Margaret Bean Guy on July 20, 1983, whom he married April 12, 1967. He is survived by his children; Mary Alice Buckler and her husband Kevin, Howard Matthew "Buddy" Guy, Jr. and his wife Nina, Patricia Dianne Raley and her husband C.D., James Thomas Guy and his wife Stacy, Laura Ann Guy and her husband D.J. Lyon and Deanna Michele Burroughs and her husband Chris, brother John Boothe Guy and sister Theresa Diane Reintzell both of Loveville, MD and grandchildren Lee Bowles, Kevin and Daniel Buckler, Candace and Kenny Guy, Charlie, Dylan, Kim and Chelsea Raley, Travis and Corey Guy, Jessica and Brooke Lyon and Taylor and Sara Burroughs. He was also preceded in death by his brother James Thomas Guy, Jr. and sister Mary Alice Guy. Mr. Guy was a life long St. Mary's County resident who enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing, spending time with his family and grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 14 from 5 â?? 8 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home with prayers being said at 7 PM.
