Services: A Funeral Service will be held in Bethesda United Methodist Church in Valley Lee, MD on Saturday, August 14, 2004 at 10 AM with Rev. Irvin Beverly officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation: Public Visiation will be from 9 - 10 AM in the Bethesda United Methodist Church in Valley Lee, MD. James "Jim Boy" Arthur Morgan, 63 of Leonardtown, MD formerly of Lexington Park, MD died August 9, 2004 in Leonardtown, MD. Born July 15, 1941 in Valley Lee, MD he was the son of the late Mary Henrietta Morgan and Cornelius Morgan. He is survived by his sister Shirley Scriber and brother Nathaniel Lawrence both of Callaway, MD. Mr. Morgan graduated from Cardinal Gibbons Institute in 1959. He was a life long St. Mary's County resident, who retired in October 2003 from the Trading Post where he worked as a Laborer. Mr. Morgan enjoyed music and playing cards. The family received friends on Saturday, August 14 at the Bethesda United Methodist Church where a funeral service was held at 10 AM with Pastor Irvin Beverly officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were John Morgan, Wesley Scriber, Marvell Scriber, William Jordan, Nathaniel Lawrence, Jr. and Michael Smith. Honorary Pallbearers were Joseph Jordan, Donald Moore, Alvin Morgan, Joseph Morgan, Nathaniel Campbell and Norman Bailey.
