A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens.
Visitation:
Viewing/Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home.
James Lee “Jim” Johnson, 46, of Lexington Park MD died February 14, 2009 at his residence. Born February 4, 1963 in Tacoma, WA, he was the son of Betty Ann Johnson – Shegogue of Lexington Park, MD and the late Ronald Lee Johnson. He is also survived by his sisters Linda Gardiner of Lexington Park, MD and Cheryl Coeyman of NC as well as eight first cousins, twelve second cousins and three aunts. Jim moved to St. Mary’s County in 1969 from Marlow Heights, MD and graduated from Leonardtown High School. He served in the U.S. Airforce for one year. Pallbearers will be Steve Patterson, David Gardiner, Brian Cooksey, Kevin Akers, Lee Gardiner, Guy Latimer and John Svoboda. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
