Services: A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Christ Church Chaptico, MD., a reception will follow immediately after the service in the Parish Hall. Interment will be private. James “Jim” Michael Brinkmann, Sr. 58, of Chaptico, MD passed away on May 23, 2014 at Hospice House of St. Mary’s in Callaway, MD. Born on March 20, 1956 in Waterford, WI, he was the loving son of the late Evelyn Josephine Brezgel Brinkmann and John Edward Brinkmann, Sr. Jim was the loving husband of Rose M. Brinkmann whom he married on July 18, 1981. Jim is survived by his children: John E. Brinkmann, II of Southern Pines, NC, and James M. Brinkmann, II (Katherine) of Sacramento, CA. Siblings: Patricia Sohns (Skip) of Burlington, WI, John C. Brinkmann of Grafton, WI., Sharon Hoff (Bob) of Germantown, WI, and Robert Brinkmann (Mario) of Long Island, NY. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles Brinkmann. Jim graduated from Waterford Union High School in 1974. Jim served in the United States Army for 14 years from June 22, 1974 to August 3, 1988, serving at various duty stations and was awarded multiple honors. He moved from Fort Meade, MD to St. Mary’s County, MD in 1988 and worked for ManTech as a Senior Technical Recruiter. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Christ Church Chaptico, MD., a reception will follow immediately after the service. Interment will be private.
