“Nan, Sharon, Pam and Family: May God Bless each and everyone of you during this difficult time. Uncle Jimmy was a brilliant man with a heart of gold that he shared with each and everyone that surrounded him. He will certainly be missed by all, however at least we know that he is no longer suffering and is home with Aunt Nancy. We will miss him so much at crab night and at our pitch game gatherings. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.”
“Nancy, Sharon & Pam: Many fond memories of spending time with your family and especially being around Jimmy when he still worked at the Leonardtown Laundry. My father was very fortunate that Jimmy worked with him. We boys grew up knowing Jimmy as a friend and kind of like an Uncle. You girls were like cousins to us. Great memories of visits to see your Mom and Dad and Pappy. Being around your family at Pappy’s Farm was my first memories about farm life, harvesting potatoes, helping with hanging tobacco, and really playing more than working. Great memories of the kindness your Dad and Mom showed my parents and us nine children. Most recently, Jimmy attended my mother’s funeral last September where we sat and talked. It felt so good to see him at that difficult time of our loss. My Dad is now 90 and still talks fondly of happy memories with Jimmy. Sadly, my Dad sends his condolences to Jimmy’s daughters but is unable to attend. My brothers and sisters asked me to convey our sorrow for your loss. When I think of the Celebration of Life of Jimmy, I can only picture many fine people with endless tales of friendship and love for your father Jimmy and all of you. “
