Jeanette’s career began at the age of sixteen at the telephone company in Leonardtown, MD, where she developed lifelong values of professionalism, kindness, and dedication. She devoted 29 years to St.Mary’s Hospital, serving in numerous roles and earning a reputation for reliability, compassion, and a heart of gold. Colleagues fondly remember her as someone who always knew the answer and shared it with a warm smile.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, listening to country music, watching TLC, scrolling through Facebook, and treating herself to a bit of online shopping.
She loved to create, to grow, and to bring things to life, through her crafts, puzzles, and her cherished plants.
Above all, family was the center of Jeanette’s world. She cherished every moment spent with loved ones and found meaning in even the smallest memories. She believed that life is a path shaped by God’s will, and while we cannot change it entirely, we can choose to make it easier for others and remain true to the values we were raised with. Jeanette lived this belief daily, striving to make the world kinder and brighter. Every moment spent together was a precious gift, and she would not have changed a single thing.

We were operators together in Leonardtown. We would split the key and talk to each other so no one could hear us while we looked up phone numbers. I visited her home and was crazy about that aqua and white Camaro she drove. I am so sorry for the families loss. She was a girl who loved everyong
Jeanette was always so wonderful and sweet to me growing up I truly considered her to be an Auntie. She also had an insatiable laugh. She always loved to tell a good story. My heart goes out to all of her family
My thoughts and prayers are with Jeanette’s family and friends. May the many wonderful and happy memories that you created and shared with her provide you comfort in the days ahead. Loveville has lost another good neighbor. Rest in peace Jeanette.
