Joseph David Bonds

Joseph David Bonds, 76 of Leonardtown, MD formerly of Valley Lee, MD passed away on July 4, 2016 in Leonardtown, MD. Born March 24, 1940 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of the late Mary Margaret Bonds and Richley Paul Bonds. He was the loving husband of the late Alice Rebecca Bonds who preceded him in death on November 18, 2009. Joseph is survived by his children; Kevin W. (Charmissa) Biscoe of Stephens City, VA, Novella Bond (Mark) Anderson of Clinton, MD, Regina (Bernard) Bonds of Lexington Park, MD, David Bonds of Lexington Park, MD and Alicia Bonds of Lexington Park, MD, siblings; Junior Xavier Bonds of Great Mills, MD, Dinah Marie Bonds of Great Mills, MD, James Bernard Bonds of Ft. Washington, MD, George Lee Bonds of Oxon Hill, MD, Anthony Donald Bonds of Great Mills, MD, Shirley Ann Kyle of Great Mills, MD, Gloria Regina King of Camp Springs, MD and Angela Lois Dias of Great Mills, MD, also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Joseph was a lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County, he was a Packer/Mover for Anchor Van Lines, and he was a member of the WCD Club. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, playing cards and cooking. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM in St. Marks UAME Church, Valley Lee, MD where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:00PM with Reverend Joseph Statesman officiating.
