“Dear Cindy, Mike, Bobby and Allen, Your Mom has always been dear to my heart. She taught me so much when she was my 4-H leader-many years ago. Information that I use all the time, and thus part of your mom will always live on. I’m so sorry for your loss! God bless.”
“Mom I miss you deeply. You taught me to care for people and to love with an open heart. That was the greatest gift I received from you. I will watch over Dad as you ask and do my best to keep our family together. Please drop in once in awhile from heaven and keep me in line as you always done. Mom I Love You and always will. We will be together again some day. LOVE YOUR SON”
“Dear Uncle Jim, Mike, Cindy, Bobby, and Alan; even though I wasn’t there on Thursday and Friday my thoughts were there with you. While I was away, I looked at the clock during the time for the prayers and funeral, and just sat and said a quiet prayer for Aunt Josie and all of you and your families. I will always remember the times Aunt Josie’s flowers would fill up the Flower Building at the Fair loaded with ribbons. It was fun to watch her and mom decide who put the “prettiest” one in and see what ribbon it would get. Just think of the flowers she and Big Mama are planting in Heaven! Aunt Josie always loved talking to me about her Christmas decorations. We definitely had that in common. She couldn’t wait for me to see her newest reindeers, and she was most proud of her big snowman on the porch. But the thing that brought Aunt Josie the most joy was her family. She would just light up when she talked about all of you. It will be hard not having her around, but she is in your heart and watching over all of you. You will stay in my prayers. Love, Cathy “
“You are in our thoughts and prayers.”
“Mom, You will always be with me. I truely remember all of the things that you taught me as my 4-H leader when I was growing up…how to can vegetables, crochet, and especially the flower gardening. You definitely had the green thumb in this category and you were by far the best! Many of my co-workers never met you, but knew of you through the many colorful and wonderful bouquets. Your stuffed ham was enjoyed by many also and that I am still learning how to make! You will surely be miss! LOVE Your Daughter, Cindy, Gary & Bailey St. Clair “
“I LOVE AND MISS MY AUNT JOSIE ALOT.”
“Almost a year has passed since I received the call from Allen. There is not a day that goes by that you do not cross my mind. A lot of little things remind me of you. Beautiful flowers (the lilly garden you grew for me in the backyard when I told you they were my favorite), baskets, reindeer christmas decorations, stuffed ham…I refuse to eat stuffed ham (unless Jim makes it) because if it is not made by your hands, it never tastes right. I went the entire holiday season of 2009 (Thanksgiving and Christmas) without stuffed ham. I look in my cupboard and see the dishes that you gave me everyday. We use them everyday. I pass Charles Memorial four times a week and I find myself in tears. I am in your home four times a week, and it just doesn’t feel the same without you greeting me at the front door (seeing Jim is great too though)! I look at Kaiden and always remember how much you loved him and would do anything to make him happy! I thank God for making you an important part of my life! I have your picture at my desk. You keep me company everyday. You are in my heart dearest Josephine. I will love and miss you always—Amber”
