Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 13, 2005, 12:30PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 28297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville,MD 20659. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Morganza, MD. Visitation: Viewing & Visitation will be Sunday, June 12,2005 from 2PM till 5PM with prayers being said at 3PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Lawrence Lenwood "Mouse" Pilkerton, 74, of Mechanicsville, MD died June 9, 2005 at his home in Mechanicsville, MD. Born July 2, 1930 he was the son of the late William Archie and Helen Mae Wood Pilkerton, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Elizabeth Buckler Pilkerton, whom he married on August 4, 1958 in St. Paul's Methodist Church, Leonardtown, MD. Mr. Pilkerton is also survived by his children, Lawrence Stephen and his wife Cindy of Virginia Beach, VA and Arthur Lenwood and his wife Kim of LaPlata, MD. and his grandchildren, Mindy Sue, Jeanne, Adam, Joshua, Andrew, Dawn, Carrie, and Christy Len along with 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary M. Burroughs William Archie Pilkerton, Jr. and Roberta Eleanor Guy all of Mechanicsville, MD; Helen Virginia Knott of Hollywood, MD; Muriel Regina Bowling of Charlotte Hall, MD and Carolyn Anita Connelly of Leonardtown, MD. He was preceded in death by his stepson, Richard Dixon; his sister, Edith Bernardine Knott; and, his brother, James Arthur Pilkerton. Mr. Pilkerton was employed as an Auto Mechanic at the Washington Navy Yard for 22 years until his retirement in 1981. He then drove a school bus for St. Mary's County Board of Education for 20 years which he enjoyed very much. He was a member of the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department and the Mechanicsville Moose Lodge. Contributions may be made to the Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, P. O.
