Our deepest condolences to the Abbott family. Lou left a significant imprint on every Chief Petty Officer that had the pleasure of being initiated and led by him. More importantly, his friendship and love of life will live on within each of those he touched. God bless, Master Chief.
I first met Lou when I began working with PMA-213. He was very helpful teammate, and a good source of information regarding the programs were supported together as well as letting me know ‘who’s who in the zoo’. He was an excellent Team member, and friend to many of us. Fair winds and following seas Lou!
Pat and Jenny, I am so sorry to hear of your great loss, husband and father. May the good memories soothe your soul. I will keep all of your family in my prayers. Karen King
I knew Lou from him being a customer of mine years ago. He used to bring his Pomeranian with him, which was always a sight as Lou would be the last person you’d have thought would have owned a small dog…but man it was clear that he loved that dog! Something he said to me in the past about “the customer is always right” came up in a discussion recently, and I decided to look him up and see he has passed away.
Sad to see another American original gone. He was truly one of a kind. Just know he left lasting impression on all he met, and I still use his phrase about “the customer is always right” to this day.
