Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2006 at 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Viewing/Visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2006 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home. Lillian Slyvania Meade, 82, of Great Mills, MD died July 25, 2006 in Leonardtown, MD. Born February 20, 1924 in Coeburn, VA she was the daughter of the late Orbin and Ella Sexton Carter. She was the loving wife of the late George Willard Meade whom she married in Leonardtown, MD on March 9, 1943 and who predeceased her on September 30, 1991 in Leonardtown, MD. She is survived by her children: G. Edward Meade of Vian, OK, Louise Biscoe and Richard Meade of Great Mills, MD and Barbara Roth of Sallisaw, OK; brothers and sisters: Orbin Carter, Henry Carter, Allie Mayer, Nina Parham, Wes Carter and Thelma Sexton of Lexington Park, MD; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, July 28, 2006 from 9:00- 10:00AM in Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be John Biscoe, Ryan Roth, Tony Blackbird, Larry Parham, Matthew Harris, and Terry Sexton.
