  3. Sharon (Schlosser) Surdacki says:

Linda and I attended LHS together. We would often get to catch up at McKay’s or more recently at Fuzzy Farmers. Linda was one tough lady. Regardless of how she was feeling or what kind of day she was having, she was always so positive and upbeat. A visit with Linda always brightened my day. Sincere condolences to her family and friends. We will all miss her. God has called an angel home. Sharon

  4. Tim, David and family members – our deepest condolences from the Special Olympic family.
Special Olympics has lost a courageous lady who enjoyed every minute of her time with us. I had the opportunity to talk with several coaches who have been involved with Linda in cycling, bocce and bowling today. Every one of them stated how touched they have been when working with her; never a complaint, a great desire to participate, her friendly attitude, a truly caring person who we all think we served in a very special way and we are so blessed to have had the chance to be friends with Linda. In our Special Olympics Oath, it says – “let me be brave in the attempt” – Linda certainly lead the way in bravery for all of us with this battle she faced in the past 4 years. She was brave and should be proud of all that she accomplished in her life. We are all very proud to have been a part of Linda,Tim and David’s lives.

  5. Charlie, Mickie and Kimberly Ballard says:

    Tim and David,
Linda was a very special lady. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone around her. She was very strong and courageous when dealing with this part of her life. I met her through Special Olympics and noticed how she always gave it her all, whether is was in bowling or bocce. She loved being there. Her enthusiasm showed through every time she arrived for practice. Linda will be sorely missed, but I know she will always be looking over you and David from the stars of Heaven.
    Mickie

  6. My friend Linda will be missed. I always looked forward to her visits where I work, and meeting her for lunch or breakfast. I will miss her smile, her positive attitude, her love of life. She is now watching over all of us from heaven with love.

  7. Adrienne (Ewell) Casteen and family says:

We are sorry we can’t be there in person, however we are there in our thoughts and prayers. I will always remember Linda’s joy and happiness. We spent hours together when I was a child growing up next door from each other. She always took time to share exciting news with me like a new litter of baby rabbits or meeting someone special at her job. I will miss seeing that joy in person, but I will always remember. Sending much love from NC.
