Linda Mae Gardiner (Johnson)

Linda Johnson Gardiner, 69, of Pollocksville, went home to be with the Lord following a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins, enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren whenever she had the chance. She is survived by her children, Roger Lee Gardiner, Jr. (Melissa), Ronald Eugene Gardiner, David Andrew Gardiner (Kate), and Carol Ann Gardiner Cooksey (Wayne); her mother, Betty Johnson; her sister, Cheryl Coeyman (Michael); seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 1:00 Pm to 2:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD; A Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Marvin Harris officiating. She will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Charles Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in Linda's name to the American Cancer Society or to Community Home Care & Hospice.
