Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 4 at 11:30 AM in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church with Rev. Paula Halliday officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Visitation: A Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 3 at 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home with prayers being said at 7:00 PM. Lola May White, 90, of Hollywood, MD formerly of Clinton, MD died February 2, 2005 in Leonardtown, MD. Born October 10, 1914 in Cherrydale, VA, she was the daughter of the late Lillie and John Vaughn. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Ray White on August 14, 1978 whom she married in Forestville, MD on June 28, 1950. She is survived by her children: Lorraine R. Greenleaf of Leonardtown, MD, Lawrence R. White, Jr. of Sedro Wooley, WA, Lorrie M. Spadaro of Virginia Beach, VA and Gertrude M. Young of Cobb Island, MD, brothers and sisters: Helen Walters of Waldorf, MD, Frank Vaughn and Melvin Vaughn both of Clinton, MD, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Willie Vaughn, Edward Vaughn and sister Gertrude Leizear. Mrs. White moved here from Clinton, MD in the summer of 1963. She loved to play bingo, read, spending time with friends, family and especially her little dog "Lillie". The family will receive friends Thursday, February 3 from 5 â?? 8 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home with prayers being said at 7 PM.
