Lynne Jane Pohlman, 78, of Hollywood, Maryland, formerly from Anoka, MN, passed away on August 20, 2025 in Hollywood, MD. Born on December 22, 1946 in Adrian, MN, she was the daughter of the late Jeanette C. Smith (Peck) and Vernon T. Smith. Lynne is survived by her children Mollie Armstrong (Matt) of Ewa Beach, HI, Nettie Mills (Dan) of Hollywood, MD, five grandchildren Tyler Armstrong, James Armstrong, Erik Armstrong, Bruce Kirby, and Myloh Mills. Siblings Cynthia Israel (Donald) of Wheat Ridge, CO, Candiss Stensrud (Craig) of Winter Haven, FL.
She graduated from Lakefield High School, Lakefield, MN in 1965. She moved from Inverness, Florida to St. Mary’s County, MD in January 2023.
Lynne was a Team Lead for Honeywell and Alliant Techsystems for over 25 years.

Class of 1965 Lakefield, MN will miss Lynn. She had a great sense of humor and was willing to help all.
Lynne & I were good friends since we were 13 yers old. We were each other’s “date” for all our class reunions. I will miss her terribly! Abby HoltanHoward
Mollie & Nettie~I was so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. You guys know I could write a book on all my memories of Lynnie~Pie, we all had a lot of fun in the 60’s….and most of them better not be printed here. Just know fun was had by all♥️ Wish I was closer so I could give you both a big hug, she will be missed!! Sending you both & your families our deepest sympathy, Love, & Prayers♥️

I don’t know why my memory didn’t stay here……..but know I had some………Mollie & Nettie……I am so very sorry for your Mom’s passing!!! We all had a really good time in the 60’s…….can’t write everything here😂🤣😂. Loved “Lynnie Pie” like a sister, I was always closer to Candy (we are the same age) But just know a good time was had by all. Sending deepest sympathy, Love, and Prayers…….also a big hug for both of you♥️♥️
