Services: A graveside service will be held Monday, August 7, 2006 at 9:00 AM in Charles Memorial Gardens,26325 Point Lookout Road Leonardtown, MD 20650,with Deacon Bill Nickeson officating. Margaret Loretta Gatton, 87, of Leonardtown, MD died on August 1, 2006 in Bayside Nursing Center. Born February 28, 1919 in Leonardtown, MD she was the daughter of the late Robert Spalding and Bertie Catherine Readmond Russell. She was the loving wife of the late Benjamin Gatton whom passed July 22, 1962. She is survived by her siblings Catherine Stancil and Francis Russell of Leonardtown, MD and Charles Russell of Olean, NY. She was preceded in death by her siblings Robert F. Russell, Agnes C. Bussler, Mary B. Dean, and Joseph A. Russell. She was a life long St. Mary's County resident were she worked as a Food Service Employee for St. Mary's Nursing Center for approximately twenty five years. She belonged to the AARP. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2006 at 9:00 AM at Charles Memorial Gardens with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating.Memorial Contributions can be made to Hospice P.O.
