Marian A. Kangas, 64, of Great Mills, Maryland died on October 19, 2018 at MedStar of St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Maryland.
She was born on September 13, 1954 in Leonardtown, Maryland to the late Robert Blair and Helen Rosalie Swann.
She was a graduate of St. Mary’s College and was employed by St. Mary’s Hospital retiring in 2007.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather LeCompte House, of Auburn, AL (Rob) and her grandson, Austin House. She was proceeded in death by her son, Robert C. LeCompte.
She leaves behind her siblings, Nancy Haynie (Alvin), Elizabeth Adams (Mike) and Blair Swann (Kathy).

Another high school friend gone too soon. We need to be better about keeping in touch and looking out for each other. Marian’s energy was infectious; she wore a huge smile and was everyone’s friend. Those were the good old days.
