Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morganza, MD with Father Keith Woods officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation: Public Viewing & Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2005 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM. Marie Alice Hill, 90, of Helen, MD died August 23, 2005 in Charlotte Hall, MD. Born March 8, 1915 in Hollywood, MD she was the daughter of the late William Albert and Mary Alice Thompson Wood. She was the wife of the late William Elmer Hill whom she married in St. John's Catholic Church, Hollywood, MD in 1937. She is survived by her children Larry Duane Hill, William Franklin Hill and Agnes Delores Cusic all of Mechanicsville, MD, James Dallis Hill of Helen, MD and Julia Ann Davis of Charlotte Hall, MD and one sister: Sister Alice Theresa SCN of Nazareth, KY; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Louise Bowles, Joseph Archie Wood, Amanda Elizabeth Greenwell, James Irving Wood, Agnes Virginia Wood, William Albert Wood, Jr. and George Eugene Wood. Ms. Hill attended St. John's School in Hollywood, MD. Since 1939 she was the Owner of Hill's Store and Bar in Helen, MD. She enjoyed playing cards. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2005 from 5:00 â?? 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Franklin Hill, Dallis Hill, Larry Hill, J.H. Cusic, Gene Hill, David Williams and Jimmy Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Contributions may be made to Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
