Martha Jane Smith Greenwell

Martha Jane Smith Greenwell (August 27, 1950 – October 29, 2020) died peacefully at her home Thursday evening with her loving husband at her side. Martha Jane “Janie” is survived by her devoted husband, Stephen Wayne Greenwell, whom she married on December 14, 1996 at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Hollywood, MD. She is also survived by her sister, Sally Ann Mitchell, of Severna Park, MD, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Joseph Smith and Martha Genevieve Thompson Smith. Prior to her retirement, she was a facilities manager for the Mercantile Banking Corporation in Towson, MD. Her home and gardens were her passions in retirement and both of these passions were self evident in everything she did. All arrangements are private.
