Martin Jason Long, 31, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Born on November 15, 1984 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the loving son of Robin Lawrence (George) and the late Martin P. Long. Jason is survived by his grandparents Margaret and Harry Nelson, Brenda Guy. Siblings; Jessica Long, Step sister Stephanie Lawrence, Amber Lawrence, 4 nieces and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Martin and June Long, Natural grandparent Emanuel “Sugar” Guy, and Sister Amanda Long. Growing up Jason enjoyed; camping trips, and spending time with his family. Many identified Jason with having a big heart and smile on his face. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 6:00-7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating. Interment will be private

  6. To Jason’s family so sorry to hear if Jason’s passing I’m in shock didn’t know about this. I use to work with Jason at the veteran home he always kept me smiling and I seen him out sometimes at the fair or carnivals he was such a sweet person always gave me a hug when I saw him. What happen to him cause im lost with this news and it breaks my heart that he is gone. RIP Jason I will miss you and your hugs.
