Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Christ Episcopal Church, Chaptico, MD with Fr. Jessee Neat officiating.Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Monday, May 28, 2007 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A. with prayers being said at 7:00 PM. Mary "Ann" Lyon, 76, of Clements, MD and formerly of Dentsville, MD died May 22, 2007 at Georgetown University Hospital. Born April 30, 1931 in Dentsville, MD, she was the daughter of the late James C. and Belle Rollins. She was the loving wife of Oliver A. Lyon whom she married on February 18, 1961 in United Methodist Church in La Plata, MD and who preceded her in death on February 6, 2006. She is survived by her children Donna and Gary Lyon, both of Clements, MD; siblings, Cecil D. and James Rollins, both of Dentsville, MD and Wayne Rollins of WA ; grandsons, Robert G. Jr. and Jared and great-granddaughter Kaylee Lyon. She was a graduate of LaPlata High School and member of Christ Episcopal Church where she was an organist for years. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 28, 2007 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD where prayers will be said at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 10:00 AM in Christ Episcopal Church, Chatpico, MD with Fr. Jessee Neat officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Lyon Jr., Billy Lyon, BJ Lyon, Ronnie Lyon, Adam Lyon and David Lyon. Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Lyon, Matthew Quade, Malcom Goode and Mike Sirk.
