Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bushwood, MD with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation: Viewing and Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2005 from 5 PM till 8PM with a prayer service being said at 7 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel, Leonardtown, MD. Mary Elizabeth Quade, 84, of Clements, MD died December 10, 2005 in St. Mary's Hospital. Born February 26, 1921 in Chaptico, MD she was the daughter of the late George Clayton and Rose Alice Suite Russell. She was preceded in death by her husband David Roy Quade, Sr. on February 17, 1978 whom she married on December 26, 1939 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by her children: David Quade and Jimmy Quade both of Clements, MD, Betty Ann Grindstaff of Great Mills, MD and Bobby Quade of Leonardtown, MD; brothers and sisters: Martin Henry Russell and Anna Mae Lore both of Ridge, MD, Alice Louise Childress of Illinois and Cora Viola Norris of Leonardtown, MD; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sister: Johnson William Russell, Joseph Clayton Russell, Guy Arthur Russell, James Bernard Russell, George Edward Russell, Frank Lewis Russell, Theodore Marshall Russell, Albert Grover Russell, Joseph Leonard Russell and Martha Marie "Mickie" Norris and one grandson: Thomas Anthony Quade. Ms. Quade was a lifelong St. Mary's County resident. She always enjoyed spending time with the family, grandchildren, playing cards and bingo. She loved to go fishing and preparing a big Christmas feast where her homemade rolls and root beer were everyone's favorites. She was also good at making people laugh. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 from 5:00 â?? 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Francis Early officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Guy Lawrence, Jimmy Quade, Jeffery Quade, Robbie Quade, Chris Quade and Joey Quade. Honorary Pallbearers will be her granddaughters: Arlene Guy, Donna Bowles, Sandy Pilkerton, Bonnie Readmond and Tina Wathen. Contributions may be made to the 7th District Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
