Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 21, 2007 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morganza, MD, with Fr. Keith Woods officiating. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2007 from 9:00-10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morganza, MD. Mary Elizabeth "Honey" Rustin, 93, of Mechanicsville, MD died May 17, 2007 at her residence. Born September 5, 1913 in Oraville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Tobias and Hattie LaVona Thomas. She was the loving wife of the late James A. Rustin whom she married in Washington, DC. She is survived by her children; Paul Rustin, Marie Rustin, Cecelia Rustin Franklin, James Rustin, Jr., Anne Rustin and Jerry Rustin, 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and her sister Sarah Adams. A lifelong resident of St .Mary's County, Mary was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Star Light Dream Club where she was the treasurer and enjoyed participating with the club members. She was employed as a Nurse's Aide at St. Mary's Hospital and enjoyed providing care to the elderly. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2007 from 9:00-10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morganza, MD where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM with Fr. Keith Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
