Mary Josephine Payne

Mary Josephine Payne, 81, of Hollywood, MD formally from Clinton, MD passed away on July 27, 2019 at her home. She was born on December 25, 1937 in Washington, DC and was the daughter of the late Dorothy Elizabeth Helton Murphy and Joseph Murphy. Mary is survived by her husband Ross Edward Payne, whom she married on June 6, 1963. Mary is survived by children Cindy Watson of Brandywine, MD, Brenda Eckenrode of Mechanicsville, MD, Ross Payne, III of Leonardtown, MD, Robert Cassell of Waldorf, MD, Michael Cassell of West, VA and 4 grandchildren. As well as her siblings Bill Tinsley, Bobby Tinsley, and Vincent DiGennaro. She was preceded in death by her sister Delores Swindle. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Real Life Church Mechanicsville, MD with Pastor Chris Bryan officiating. Interment will be private.
