Ms. Jenkins has meant everything to me. I will LOVE & CHERISH her memory forever!! I felt like she & I had become family, I will miss our talks, our daily naps, our lunch & dinner dates, her just picking up the phone and calling me, just to ask me where was and I were OK. I’m glad that we were apart of each others life, she has been the very best client of mines ever! Her presence is greatly missed already!! However I’m glad she is resting in peace, and we had plenty of time to say our I LOVE YOU’s & even our goodbyes! LOVE always Jewel & the kids!!

Nana Jenkins was loved by many, her, James and Daryl were an extended part of the Johnson family. I have many stories about Nana; some sad, funny, good and bad. She would have my toast ready when I got home from school just like I liked it with cinnamon and sugar. Nana loved her Soap Operas but sure to tell me I better not act like those women on that show. There are people that come into your life you will never forget and Nana was one of them. There are no words to explain what this woman meant to me. I will miss our phone calls every couple months just to catch up and hearing memories about my dad. She saw a lot in her long life and helped me through some extremely hard times. I love you Nana!!
Darryl and family. Your grandma was such a sweet lady and dear old friend to us and all of the Johnson family. I have known you since (as you used to say) “knee high to a grasshopper”. So many fond memories of Jerry Love and I fishing in the stream behind your house, you bringing us out lemonade and snacks to eat. In later years I would always bring you vegetables to can and you always returned the favor by giving us the best chow chow I ever have tasted. You will be dearly missed by the Morganza community. May you rest in peace in the arms of our dear Savior, Jesus Christ.
