Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 22 at 10:00 AM in St. John's Catholic Church with Father Raymond Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Public Viewing will be held in in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM with prayers being said at 7:00 PM Mary Margaret Armsworthy, 98, of Hollywood, MD died March 17, 2005 in Leonardtown, MD. Born February 17, 1907 in Great Mills, MD she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Burris Langley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Armsworthy on May 31, 1954. Mrs. Armsworthy is survived by her daughter Mildred Jones of Hollywood, MD and grandchildren, Michael E. Jones and Barbara Jones Snavely of Hollywood, MD; Patricia Jones Stout of Myrtle Beach, SC; Lisa Jones Price of Yellow Springs, WV; and, Jeffery S. Jones and David P. Jones of Leonardtown, MD. Surviving also are her great-grandchildren: Heidi, Sarah and David Quade; Joann Quade Lebeaux; Melissa Garrison; Heather, Crystal and Mike Jones, Jr.; Ryan Jones; Amy and April Russell; Gary Spalding; and, Lauren Jones; and, her great-great-grandchildren : Jasmine, Brianna and Kelvin Lebeaux; Deamonte Lacey; Gavon Jones; and, Kandace Russell. Mrs. Armsworthy was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Christopher Jones, her great-great-granddaughter, Jocelyn Lebeaux and her sister, Helen Langley. She was a life-long St. Mary's County resident and enjoyed quilting as a hobby. Prayers were said for Mrs. Armsworthy on March 21, 2005 in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on March 22, 2005 in St. John's Catholic Church with Father Ray Schmidt officiating. Pallbearers for Mrs. Armsworthy were Gary Stout, Ryan Jones, Brian Russell, Michael Price, Sr., Michael Price, Jr. and Jeffery K. Snavely.
