Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 11:30 AM in St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, St. Mary’s City, MD with Fr. Scott Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 10:30 AM- 11:30 AM in St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, St. Mary’s City, MD. Mary Ruth Kohut, 92, of St. Mary’s City, MD died on August 19, 2011 in Eustis, FL. Born on August 31, 1918 in St. Mary’s City, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Bowles and Julia Mae Adams Bowles. She was the loving wife of the late Michael Joseph Kohut. Mrs. Kohut is survived by her children; Margaret Norris of Leesburg, FL and William M. Kohut (JoAnn) of Waldorf, MD., a sister Helen Murawski of NC, 4 grandchildren; Jessica Mae Geib, and Julia Franas Payne both of FL, Sarah Ann and Michael Anthony Kohut both of MD as well as 2 great-great grandchildren Marley Grace and Cooper Christopher Geib. Mrs. Kohut was a homemaker The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2011, 10:30 AM-11:30 AM in St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, St. Mary’s City, MD. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, August 25 at 11:30 AM in St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, St. Mary’s City, MD., with Fr. Scott Woods officiating.
