Michael Allen Meads

Michael “Mike” Allan Meads, II, 33, of Valley Lee, MD, passed away in Valley Lee, MD on February 9, 2015. Born on July 31, 1981 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of Brenda Gail Reiche of Valley Lee, MD, and Michael Allan Meads, Sr. of Elizabeth City, NC. Mike is survived by his children; Lacey Nicole Meads, and Braydon Michael Meads both Valley Lee, MD, Stepson Jayson Robert Bowles of Compton, MD, Nephew Nathan Conner Ridgell of Valley Lee, MD, Niece’s; Kamryn Dawn Ridgell and Kaylah Brenee Ridgell both of Wicomico, MD. Siblings; Melissa Anne Ridgell of Lusby, MD, Step Sister Nicole M. Schwarga of Elizabeth City, NC, and John S. DeCarlo of Luling, LA. He was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident, graduating from Leonardtown High School in 1999, he worked in Sheet metal Fabrication. Mike loved spending time with his kids, friends, and family, he enjoyed; family get together's, cooking, fishing, and was always willing to lend a hand to help anyone day or night. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 14, 2015 at 10:00 Am in Holy Face Catholic Church Great Mills, MD with Father Jerry Gamrot officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers; Andy Trossbach, Brian Erdolino, Keith Dutton, Chris Sivak, Tommy Miller, and Cole Langley. Honorary Pallbearers; Nathan Ridgell, Gary Shall, “Cal”, Brandon Mohundro and Marcus Dorsey.
