Dear Donna and Family,
Our family is so very sorry for your loss of Mike. We remember him so vividly on the lacrosse fields of Leonardtown… all of us watching and cheering. Mike had a great smile: sheepish, mysterious and charming all at the same time. He was a hard head who did not back down and his skill and effort were always apparent. Death is never easy, no matter when or how. He will live on in your hearts, memories and stories.
Please know that we are praying for you and sending you positive thoughts to help you through this very sad and difficult time.
The Stamm Family
You may not remember me but I was a coach for Pigskin football back in the late 90s and that is where I met your beautiful son. He and my daughter went to school together and became close friends. Football was his passion even after a leg injury after one of the games. When I saw him in a cast afterwards and said what happened — he just said I love football but got up too soon during a play, dang I said. It did not stop him from his desire to play and he continued loving the sport until his injury in his 20s. Sometimes life isn’t fair and I feel it today as I write this to you the family…but I will say it was a pleasure to know him, a very special young man who grew up with my kids, and I will never forget his love for life, the game, and just a sweet guy. He was a good friend to Amy and we are so sad today. God bless you and deep condolences from our whole family.
Dear Donna, I just saw this obituary about Michael. I am so sorry for you and the family. I know how much he was loved and cared for by all of you. I think of you often and am here any time you need me….just for a hug or just to chat. Michael was a very special young man and I can only imagine how sad you are. My thoughts and prayers are with you
Love, Kay
