Michael “Mike” Christopher Fitzpatrick, 61, of Hollywood, MD passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 6, 2015 at his home. Born on April 27, 1954, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Patricia Millar and Eugene Fitzpatrick. Mike was the loving husband of Stephanie Fitzpatrick. Mike is survived by his children: Kathleen Hall (Kevin) and Marykate Fitzpatrick both of Hollywood, MD, and 1 grandson; Ethan Suthard. Siblings; Brett Millar of Callaway, MD and Gayle Worth of Glen Burnie, MD. He is also survived by his two fur babies, Honey, Sweetie, and his special friend Bubba. Mike was preceded in death by his brother Matthew Fitzpatrick. Mike worked as a serviceman in construction for the Washington Gas Light Company for 33 years. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Talbot officiating. Interment will be private. Contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary’s P.O. Box 625 Leonardtown, MD 20650, and/or St. Mary’s Animal Welfare League P.O. Box 1232 Leonardtown, MD 20650.

I will miss you so much.you were always my hero and idol.I learned alot from you and I’m so gratefull for all the times we spent especially when I was young and needed a father figure you were always teaching me how to be a man and about life. You are in a better place now.you can rest and have fun with your father and with mom and matthew.I know one day I’ll see you again but until then I will miss you every day.
