Michael “Mike” John Weigand, 40, of Hollywood, MD, formerly from Mechanicsville, MD, passed away on February 29, 2016. Born on August 17, 1975 in Washington, DC, he was the loving son of Linda Kuehnle (Jerry) Kuehnle of Drayden, MD, and John Weigand (Patti) of Mechanicsburg, PA. Mike is survived by his daughter Cameryn Weigand of Hollywood, MD, siblings; Amanda Connolly (Brian) Hollywood, MD, Allison Weigand of Mechanicsburg, PA. He is also survived by 2 nephews; Braden and Garrett, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Mike was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident, he graduated from Chopticon High School in 1993 and was a flooring specialist.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Carl Snyder officiating. A private Burial reserved for family only.
In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund has been established for his daughter Cameryn Carter Weigand. Contributions can be made payable to Cameryn Carter Weigand, care of Linda Lee Kuehnle 46429 Hyatt Court Drayden, MD 20630.

My deepest sympathies to Mike’s family. Mike and I grew up in the same neighborhood and attended the same schools. His passing comes much too soon.
