“I’ve been in newspaper for many years and to this day one of my favorite interviews was with Aunt Mildred when she taught me how to make Southern Maryland Stuffed Hams. Her hams won first prize at the St. Mary’s County Fair’s stuffed ham contest many years. She was a wonderful, dear person and we will miss her very much.”
“We are sorry for your loss.”
“It only seems like yesterday in which all of us kids were running around the yard and playing and being mischevious. 🙂 So many good times and memories that I will never forget! The sound of her laughter still echoes in my ears and makes me smile. Whenever I was with her, I wasn’t just some kid, I was a part of her family. For that she has and will always have a very special place in my heart. As I’m sitting here trying to hold in my tears, I can’t help but think of how the world was a better place with her in it and now heaven is a better place also because she is there. My love to you all….”
